Welcome to 140 Characters Conference!

Join us on September 15th for the first 140 Character Conference in Canada. The key focus of the conference is on how real time technology (twitter, Facebook are two examples) is changing business, agriculture, media, education, sports, celebrity – everything.

Speakers present in 10 to 20 minute segments. The day moves quickly and lots of voices are heard.

The #140conf events provide a platform for the worldwide twitter community to: listen, connect, share and engage with each other, while collectively exploring the effects of the emerging real-time internet on business.

The format is unique and fast-paced. Presentations are limited to 10-20 minutes each, to permit as many people as possible to share their stories. Presenters were selected to stimulate discussion across a wide range of sectors including: business, agriculture, government, tourism, education, entertainment, non-profit and more.

Since the launch of the #140conf events, conferences have taken place in a number of cities around the world. These events provide a platform for the worldwide online community to: listen, connect, share and engage with each other, while collectively exploring the effects of the real-time Internet on individuals, business and society.

The take aways from this event will provide the attending delegates knowledge, perspectives and insights into the effects of the real-time Internet on their organizations and their connections to both online and real-world events.
